Received TA
We finally received TA today. We plan to travel to Guangzhou China within the next few weeks.
We are so close to the finish line and Bria is almost in arms reach. I can't wait to have our family complete.
My heart is with Bria's caregiver as I"m sure she has formed a strong bond with Bria during her stay at Mao Ming orphanage. I am forever thankful for all the staff taking her in & nursing her to health. My heart is also broken for the mother who will never know how Bria' life will turn out. I can't help but think dropping Bria off on the steps of a police station was the only thing she could do. Maybe she was poor and couldn't afford to support her and loved her so much she thought of the life Bria could have, maybe the one child policy, maybe her family wanted a boy, maybe she was young and accidentally got pregnant and didn't want her family to lose honor, my heart breaks for her. Either way, I know some point in her life, she will be grieve and wonder. I wish I could tell Bria her whole story, about her Chinese mother, about her family, culture, why she was abandoned. What I will tell her is how much we love her. I will remind her she's loved by two mothers and has a amazing forever family that will always support & love her. She will be told of the love of Christ and how we were convicted to adopt her. It wasn't accidental that she became part of our family but God hand picked her for us! It was part of his perfect plan. ********
Thank you God for getting us to the finish line! All was done from the strength & miracles worked out through God. Thank you for convicting us for adoption. Thank you for giving us the faith to carry out our God Dreams! Once again you proved your mercy & faithfulness to us throughout this process. We stepped out on faith & you poured out your blessings. Amen

Orphan Sunday
http://vimeo.c
Heart Breaking! Aug 31 was
graduation day for many orphans in Europe. This is the day they aged out
of the orphanage and was forced to sleep on the streets for the first
time! Praying that God will be with these kids and for him to convict
hearts to avoid more being left for the streets next year!
Thank you God for leading us to Bria! I'm so thankful that she will be with us! I can't imagine what these children are feeling that was put out on the streets this weekend!
Last Holiday wihtout Bria
Tomorrow will be Labor day! This is the official last holiday we will have to endure without our sweet Bria! Her birthday is September 26 and I am BEGGING & PRAYING for God to allow us to celebrate her 2nd birthday with her.
As of Sep 3, our Article 5 will be picked up and we start the TA wait. This is simply China giving us our date to travel! I'm setting on go now! October will be a challenging month to travel b/c there is a 1 week holiday in China and all the affairs offices are closed. There is also a 2 week tradeshow and triples the prices for traveling to China. Again, Begging God to get us to China and work out the petty details to celebrate Bria's 2nd birthday!
I can't beleive we are almost to the end of our adoption! The waiting, paperwork and work has been so emotional and tiring! However, I would do it again to get our sweet Bria home! Our family can't wait until we have her and it's complete.
The journey has been so sweet to see how our children have prayed for her! Its so sweet to her them ask God for her protection and to please meet her needs and allow us to get her Soon. There hearts are longing for her too!
