China Doll Celebration / Shower

Today was so fun!  We had so many great family & friends come out to support us by giving us a awesome shower!  We are so blessed to have so many awesome supporters!  My heart is over whelmed with appreciation.  I could never express to everyone how they have touched our hearts!  We will never forget the support and encouragement we have received throughout the process.  Because of so many peoples Prayers, support, encouragement & gifts, we are getting to make our God Dream come true, bringing Bria home!

Tonight I'm putting all the clothes, toys, diapers up in Bria's room and I'm bursting with joy!  She has received SO many things!  All the pieces are coming together and I could just sit in her room thinking about her all night!  She has several princess pieces!  She will be the Princess of our home!

Finally, we have received our LOA!  It took WAY longer than expected but after a 4 month wait, we received our LOA at a Lifeline travel meeting.  I have been begging God for weeks with my heart heavy to receive this approval.  God has a perfect plan and I believe he is molding me with patience and reminding me that I'm not in control of everything.  I could explode today with joy!  We are now getting so close to getting sweet Bria home!  I can't wait!!!

Our Match with our God Sent Angel

Today we finally excepted our referal from China.  We have been matched with a beatiful girl named Bria.  Her Chinese name is Mao Xiang Zhong.  I am already in love with her!  It's so awesome to see how God put her into our lives.  I was so heart broken b/c we wasn't matched with the last referel we received.  Now, I'm praising God for sending us Bria as she is a PERFECT match for our family.  Bria was matched with another family but for whatever reason, it didn't work out.  I had  called Lifeline to ask if I could review Bria's file and they told me she was already matched.  The next day I received a phone call asking if we would still like to receive her files.  I was shocked.  We are over whelmed with joy and I feel at peace with this decision.  Now my prayers are getting Bria in our arms asap!  Thank you God for leading us to Bria!  Thank you for your perfect plan.  Please prepare, mold and break our hearts for her and hers for us!  Please protect and meet her needs until we have her safe in our home!  Amen

Bria is our true miracle baby!  Bria was a premie.  When she was found she was to weak to drink from a bottle.  They had to spoon feed her formula until she had enough strength to take a bottle.  At 6 months she only weighted 13 lbs but continued to regain strength!  Dr Chambers from birmingham went on a mission trip to Bria's orphange.  She was able to give her a medical examination and change her diet and exercise.  As you can see from the pictures below, Bria is a true miracle & fighter!
